Who We Are

Enfants de Lumière (EDL) ” أبناء النور ” is a Lebanese Charity Association (Ref.141/AD) founded in 2006 by a passionate group of volunteers committed to helping families overcome daily challenges with dignity and hope.

Our community is profound and built on trust, love, faith, resilience, and togetherness, guiding everything we do.

Every initiative we undertake is spiritually grounded, reflecting our belief that the families we serve are not just beneficiaries, they are part of our extended family.

What We Do

At Enfants de Lumière, we walk hand in hand with vulnerable Lebanese families, standing beside them in their most difficult moments and responding swiftly to their urgent needs.

Through carefully prepared food parcels and essential life supplies, we strive to restore dignity and stability to households facing daily uncertainty. Our approach goes beyond immediate relief, rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to human solidarity.

Our Journey of Light & Compassion

2002

Foundation

Enfants de Lumière is founded in Lebanon by a group of young volunteers driven by the desire to support underprivileged families and children.

2006

Start of regular food support

The NGO launches its first structured program, providing monthly food assistance to underprivileged Lebanese families, including “Donate Food” collection containers in partner locations.

2010

Expansion of family support

Activities grow from food parcels to broader family support (rent, schooling help, basic medical support), reaching more vulnerable households across Beirut and surrounding areas.
